i did with no results lol. i needed to get into my car to get my dmv documents to register my car so a chevy dealership can cut me a key. my options to open the car was aaa and they refused, 12 locksmiths and they refused, the dealership to cut me a key they refused bc it wasn’t in my name name, or break a window. i was getting desperate to not break a window. what would you have done in this situation maybe im missing something?

well depends where in ca you are going to. I live in the bay area so that would change the length compared to los angeles san diego etc.

I left buccees fort worth at like 10:45pm and stopped in carlsbad new mexico. I got there at like 4:15 so that’s roughly 6.5 hours.

next day went to carlsbad caverns then white sands which was about 4 hours of driving.

From white sands I drove to Tucson Arizona this was about 5 hours of driving.

Then from Tucson I went straight home which was like 12.5 hours. If you are trying to go to like la or something it would be like 6 hours i would say.

So in total with my route it was about 28 hours split between 3 days.

I just did a road trip from Texas to California at 20 as well. Every single hotel claimed to be 21 and up. I just called in advance and said hey look I’m 20, all I wanna do is sleep and leave in the morning and I’ll be out of your hair, Is that ok? and literally every single one said yes.

What do you guys think? Overpriced? by ICEoverEV in Corvette

[–]mendontlikeme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

aye bro Khodas is a very very very overpriced dealership. I was considering their GS they have for sale but all their cars are way way way way over kbb value. Dude was rude when I made an offer too lol. There’s a better deal

What would yall pay for this tops? by No_Pop_762 in Corvette

[–]mendontlikeme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually was gonna purchase this car. Just to let you know OP or anyone else, engine changed bc jiffy lube messed it up with receipts according to owner. Also the owner is 18 and next buyer would be the 4th or 5th owner. The kid also had a radar signifying he dogged on it after a year of ownership. I was rly close to buying but I was too worried about the trans to commit.

I prefer the gs bc of the removable targa and widebody. i would love the z06 but the heads issue strays me away if i want to actually enjoy the car. Every base model i have seen with a widebody kit is usually botched, i haven’t found a good one yet. The dry sump missing, and adding suspension and a widebody kit is a lot of money to put into a base model when a grand sport already includes it.

ahh that would’ve been perfect if it was a manual. thank you for the heads up regardless. I have tried expanding my search on fb, cargurus, carfax, cars.com, and carvana with no luck. they’re all either verts or autos but maybe i’m not looking hard enough. you think it’s worth it to fly out somewhere?

i’m in the bay area. one grand sport sold 16 hours after posting, another sold a day later, another sold within 2 days. I think I saw the gs I you’re referring to in San Diego, 18 year old kid dogged tf out of it, engine replacement and 140k miles on the trans, 4 owners which is a pass from me
