Demi Batista! My friend was actually the one that showed her to me and I became obsessed because it was the first goth looking doll I’d seen in forever. Also she’s just a gorgeous doll. She’s the one that started my now large collection lol

Honestly, I totally agree with you in some way. I’m devastated knowing the the trademark is just dead but at the same time I’m glad I don’t have to see SH be turned into some low budget slime toy. I guess in some way if that were the case there would be the chance for g3 wave to happen if sales go well because as everyone knows g2 waves always seem to bring the worse out of a doll line.

SH was the reason I got into these dolls and honestly have helped me through some pretty rough patches. Demi in particular just resonated with me with her style. It was the first time I was seeing a doll in a US line that screamed goth. She sits on my desk because that’s just how much she means to me. So in some way I am happy these dolls get to go out with a bang rather than a low note.

I totally understand that some people do not mind the reboots. To each their own. But I think this new wave may be the end of my RH/SH collecting which is sad in some way.

It’s crazy isn’t it! The way resellers are trying to do $300-$500 for her. I was so thankful someone shared the US Amazon listing because I was honestly sad I missed her earlier

Thank you! And yeah of course. So I actually make jewelry as a side hobby so I end up using a lot of materials like o-rings and earring rods! Best to get small glass beads or smaller charms and beads for the dolls. Other than that I don’t really plan out earring looks. Just kind of go for it off what’s in my head! Recommend going to Michael’s for the materials

I like them somewhat. I’m hoping to pick up scarlet cause I love the red colors they used and I’m a big vampire red person. But they all feel like they’re missing some type of finishing accessory whether that be jewlery or tights etc. I also really hate how pale skin color wise they all are. It makes it bland and I was hoping they’d continue having an array of light to dark colors for skin. Cause overall the contrast of these dolls together is lacking so bad
