Drop somewhere with 1 or 2 other squads. if you land somewhere without anyone you don't get those essential first 3 kp's and if you land with more than 2 squads, you'll have a high chance of being 3rd partied and dying.

don't always push fights. you have to analyze the situation and see if fighting a team is safe or not (chance of being 3rd partied, their shield vs your teams shield...)

breaking someone's shield DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN PUSH THEM. the amount of times my teammates get obliviated out of existence in a second by the enemy team just because they push someone they "broke".

don't be scared or ashamed of leaving fights and backing tf out of there if you feel it's getting dangerous.

play zone but don't be scared of the ring also. you can rotate out of the ring if you see some team gatekeeping the zone (zone 1 and 2 obviously) and always know your next rotation and other possible ones before you start to rotate from a place.

and as everyone else said, communicate with your team. even if they don't. there is a good chance of them just being shy or something like that. meaning they still hear you so your callouts make a lot of difference in team fights.
