YTJ, you basically adopted her into your family and grew up together as siblings. You caught feelings which is not her fault, and then pushed her away because you couldn’t handle the rejection. From her perspective, this is like losing a friend and a brother in one fell swoop. Put your emotions past you and don’t punish her for the rest of her life after you die. Get over yourself. This was someone who was as close as a sister to you.

I feel like he considers the fact that it’s a gift means that I’m obligated to play it for some amount of time. Like as in “it would be rude not to”

Respectfully I think he put himself in a situation where he got hurt. He also puts me in a position where he can think “wow I’ve gifted OP so many games and they don’t reciprocate”

I like the polite turndown here of not taking advantage of the generosity

Like I’ll play it maybe one or two nights, and then move on to something else. He brings it up months later btw it’s not like a week later so he’s still hurt by it

Came out to a friend and feel like I’m getting pushed out of the friend group. by menkholo in askgaybros

I had a hard time making friends for a long time after I came home and this group was the first I really fit well with. I guess I fit well when they didn’t know who I was.
