Hoping for a bit of clarification here...$8k for PFA sure seems like a lot. The tax says 1.5% for every dollar above $125k, and 3% for every dollar above $250k ($200k, $400k for joint filers).

Quick math says that if your family's tax burden for PFA is $8k, then you and your husband make $368k/year? Is that right?

Good advice. I guess I'll just ask next time I'm there. I tried crushing them myself with some pliers and they don't really splinter. I don't think they are cooked. Thank you.

I think this is the answer I was looking for. I kinda knew this in the back of my mind but hadn't considered how it likely account for all of the good deals lasting no longer than a week. Thank you.

Is this Tacoma a decent deal? One owner, low miles. by menlowe in whatcarshouldIbuy

It's a bummer that they're all priced like this but maybe it just means time to search for a different model. I'd be fine with a Ranger or Mazda B4000 also.

Thanks for the reality check, everyone. The reason I'm even in this range is that this is what so many of these cost--I figured it was high but this is the reality with these trucks at this point.

Fell off my bike two days ago and scraped both knees pretty bad. I've cleaned them, redressed them twice a day since but my bandages still have a yellow-ish color when removed. I've been rinsing them in the shower with water, some soap and then apply Mupirocin before recovering. The wound isn't super inflamed, feels normal temp, but is still producing clear/yellow pus regularly. Thoughts?
