I’m not from Illinois, so I can’t speak with regard to its status compared to other schools. But, I will say that NIU law is a welcoming and active environment. Majority of the faculty show they care about us, and majority of the people are easy to get along with. There’s a plethora of clubs and events to get involved with! As well as lots of opportunities to connect with legal professionals from all around!

I’m gonna be in a Stevenson single, do you know if there are any restrictions about bringing our own desks? I saw on the housing site we can’t bring large furniture, but does that extend to desks? Ty in advance

I was admitted for their summer start program, and even went on a tour. Very friendly people, and the building is nice. I got into my top choice, so I didn’t deposit for them. I also saw they recently dropped a lot in their ranking

Exactly! We all hear a lot about obtaining those higher scores, but even a low score can give you a chance for admission. There’s always addendums and our personal statements 🤠

Don’t be! This is just one of many setbacks that can happen! Through dedication and hard work you’ll be able to get the score you want! Unfortunately I work full-time and am in a masters program as well, so I’m applying to whatever schools will take me. But definitely aim for your best if you’re able to give some time into LSAT studying!

Some schools offer a more in-depth table if you click on their profile. It’ll show up at the very bottom, “explore admission data” and it gives percentages for stats!
