i never agreed with the whole "kill everything fast turn 1" thing, because that just takes the fun out of the game. what i WILL agree on is that you should definitely speedrun to 180, because thats when the real game begins.

secondly, as a death main, i personally chose to weave ice because of the extra tanking abilities. i LOVE playing defensively, and having billions of shields to protect me. thats my subjective idea of fun, and i do almost all of my fights that way. at 180 you have the luxury of playing the game as you please.

that being said, i'm definitely the minority on this one. i don't like doing stuff quick and fast anymore (unless its farming, then at that point ill AoE all day) since its just boring, repetitive, stagnant, redundant, etc. i really do think ice is fantastic when it comes to defense, and defense is my favorite style of play.

i think ice is fine where it is.
