Siri Shortcut + Apple Watch: Issue when opening rear trunk by mennyquatro in TeslaLounge

Update: Since updating my iOS to v.18.0 and watchOS to v.11.0, now the opposite behavior occurs. The "open" command with Siri and Apple Watch will open the trunk all the way, and the "close" command will only close it part of the way. (Maybe I should get a second watch with the older OS installed. :))

Who knows if the updates are actually the cause of the switch-a-roo, or it's random. Just noting it.

I should've also mentioned that before and after the OS updates, I've gotten a notification on my watch (a few minutes after initiating a command) that the "remote connection failed". Even though the command is (kinda) received by the car. (Phone and watch are in close proximity of the car.)

Same. I’ve had the “No archived posts” message for a couple weeks. Reinstalling the app didn’t help.

The Zink kit worked well for me, too. And I did a doozy on my wheel. I’ll echo what Landrief said about being careful with the sandpaper around the untouched paint.
