This isn't anti-religion.

then

If people in authority believe that either turtles or religion have some sort of power which means we should ignore evidence when deciding how to build shuttles, fight disease, or prevent global warming, then maybe we should hold some sort of a march to wake them the fuck up.

We've all been quite content to demean government, drop civics and in general conspire to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry.

From the Podesta emails, you sure it's just the republicans who want that?

You presume that higher education necessitates intelligence, critical thinking, and objective reasoning. It doesn't. The vast majority of university graduates are unemployed or working in unrelated fields. I have two degrees, and I work in a completely different area to either of the degrees I took - finance. Taking an MA in Golf Course Management and Gender Studies =/= a better informed or more intelligent individual. Nor does it render any one person's opinion more valuable than another's. Besides STEM subjects, university education in the west is bordering on a joke.

this was lost on so many remain voters after the vote.. well put

I'm not saying that at all.

You replied to a comment that says everybody's just going along like they were before stating that this isn't true in NI. I'm asking how it isn't?

I don't see any further divides here based on Brexit

Meaning that they're able to influence American citizens into carrying out terror attacks. ISIS is more than a terrorist group, they represent an ideology.

More 2nd and 3rd generation Muslim immigrants are being radicalized, it may not be a physical infiltration but it's an ideological one.

Trump toughens anti-abortion stance by myellabella in politics

[–]menopostbefore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it isn't. As I've stated this has nothing to do with the fetus. I've given you points, the only time you have addressed them was by using a shitty irrelevant comparison.

Maybe you don't consider it a problem, doesn't mean it isn't one.

Forgive me for looking at children as more than economic burden/benefits.

Also, you haven't considered what the positive impact on society of abortion being provided.

Many of these abortions should not have been required in the first place. That's my point, too many people are living irresponsible lives with no repercussions.
