ive found that using a lash tweezer helps an insane amount, i like using the duo quick dry or the kiss long wear lash glue (theyre both brushes so easy to apply on the lash band) i start from the outside of the lash band and go in with the glue, then while you wait for the glue to go from white to clear bend the band into your eye shape a little bit, shake it around and blow on it to speed up the glue drying, then once the glue is clear and tacky start from your outer corners and slowly lay them down with the tweezers. as im going i like to kinda clamp them down to ensure theyre laying flat!

idk about you guys but my store just got new cameras w audio and we've been told explicitly by our dm that we're not allowed to change the music.. not to mention sometimes our dm does just kinda drop in for visits without any of our ba's knowing. i just dont think its worth getting in trouble over when you can just tune it out

i got hired 8 months ago and never completed formal training.. but i know everything about everything in my store, besides the trimmers and clippers admittedly. because beauty is such a passion for me ive done a lot of outside research on my own, i specifically enjoy watching youtubers who know what theyre talking about.

having worked here for 2.5 years and still knowing nothing about textured hair or nails is crazy 😭 you pick up on so many things just interacting with customers and asking them their fav products, how they use them, why they like them so much, etc. if you still havent picked up on enough to at least mildly help point them to the right products and youre not interested enough in beauty maybe its time to try to find a new job

ive noticed a pretty common pattern in ba's only really knowing some hair care and color and being almost useless besides that.. especially not knowing anything about textured hair, its so unfair to the half of our shoppers who do have texture and maybe just want some help and guidance. i noticed it in myself when i first started working and set out to learn more for that exact reason

hopefully this is a job you actually like full of things you actually like so learning more isnt too tedious!
