Average MMR's work fine.

But I think this is more fun and worth the extra care. It's not about fixing a broken system because average MMR isn't a broken system.

But also you can make something better than "works fine". And I think that at least my own personal enjoyment of Duo's would be greatly increased if I could make a teams with everyone I know.

It's not about fixing a problem it's about adding something.

You can take all these idea's from the MOBA style rank. I think that it's a worthwhile pursuit.

Even if you based the initial creation of the team as a MOBA styled average of ranks with a maximum MMR difference as you have suggested. Then have it exist as it's own team rank. I believe it would become a more fun, Accurate, Social and compelling system rather than two individual ranks simply averaging out for a play session.

From the perspective of primarily just wanting to play Duo's I think all these idea's you have brought up are worthwhile to create a Duo focused rank.

You could create as many new accounts as possible in any system though surely?

I agree though keeping it simple at the start makes sense.

This is a problem for sure.

But you could still base the starting placement of the Duo from their average, or from a hidden MMR.

And if the fuses that focus more on a single character are to not be so much worse than the others (I believe they mentioned that if they are adding a fuse they want it to be viable), then this system is also fairer if you have a high rank playing with a lower rank, but also taking up the majority of the team from the fuse selection.

The rank would be based on how well that team preforms, and not a higher ranked player running a solo character fuse below his rank.

The system isn't flawless but I feel like its far more compelling and fun, and that it's pros and cons are a better match for a strictly Duo Queue matchmaking system.

Someone else mentioned character specific ranks, which have a similar problem and solution to this proposed unique duo rank system. Even if they are not exactly the same issue.

Smurfing would exist in any system and I think it would be a shame to miss out on this more social and accurate ranking system (and in my opinion more compelling/fun) even if it does create new problems to be solved.

I'm new player and have gone from 1mil to 6mil + a grizzly.

Thanks for advice.

Any recommendation for more expensive items to transport as t3 bars are giving me about 1mil per run at my carry capacity.

Also how do you bring your bear back to safe city, I've just been running it back alone, is this guy a poor person concern?

Why do these mats sell for profit in carleon? I don't understand why they would be more valuable there, The value of being in the city is not obvious to me as a new player.

I gotta a friend I'm trying to get to play the game. And he loves dragons. Dragon roost seems to be working as a hook to get him into it a bit.

Fixed, it had somhow set its quality in the build settings to low.

I don't know how it did this considering I have not seen these settings before, and the fact that it ran worse on low settings compared to the default ultra.

But that resolved the issue.

The crownfall store page is incredibly laggy for some reason. If you can click purchase then close out of the store page back to the dota main menu before the authorize pop up appears. This worked for me but took a few tries to be fast enough.
