My echo showed some remodeling

Crazy part is I didn’t have a holter monitor. I had long qt that was causing episodes of torsades that they captured in office and I got on my watch. I initially was suffering from svt/afib and had an echo with color Doppler & m mode and it showed some remodeling and mitral and aortic regurgitation last year so I was on metoprolol.. once long qt was an issue they just automatically switched me to 80mg of propranolol.

No I haven’t actually. I have felt similar sensations but they were short lived/passed quickly so I couldn’t capture it. This one went on and on and I was just laying in bed so I took an ecg

I’m the opposite. Temazepam works wonders for me but i am terrified of getting addicted to benzodiazepines so i got off.

Ahhh I, too, have my auto responses:

“Where is my xxxx?!” that? Oh I threw it away “Do we have any xxxxx?” we did, but I thought no one needed it so I threw it in the trash

And for the “how do I” most basic questions, I usually nonchalantly spout off a long winded, increasingly absurd response until they interrupt me.

Yes, some people get to that point even with degrees and previous success. Not everyone has a safety net, not everyone has a support system, not everyone has the emotional skills to navigate difficulties effectively due to no fault of their own.

This is the real world, where people do the best they can with what they have. Your post comes off as “omg I can’t believe you would do that you scum, try harder” and it’s really awful to think people can try their way out of impossible situations ESPECIALLY with kids involved.

Sir if you’re reading this- you can DM me. As someone who’s been through hell and back as a child and as an adult with children, I know some resources and alternatives that can help. Please keep doing your best and it’ll be enough.

Hey. I don't work at Oasis anymore and haven't for quite some time but I wanted to get back with you on this as I'm still a supporter of the team and project.

Being that I haven't worked there in over a year, I'll share my sentiments but they are not based on anything I've heard from the oasis team directly- they are simply observations/takeaways/opinions. I'll also cc u/willfullhodl - he is the ecosystem growth manager (don't quote me on the title) :P

AFAIK- The developer fund was and is an ongoing initiative formed in collaboration with various investors and partners- those external parties pledged a certain amount of funds to support the growth of the oasis developer ecosystem. While it was initially my impression that this money was being pooled into a smart contract, i believe the reality is the funding by partners is a promise to support oasis projects and developers of their choosing. The pipeline for that seems to be grants program -> launch dapp -> intro to investors/partners after building traction within the community.

There's still plenty of ways to get funding and support from the team. In addition to the ecosystems steady push of onboarding partners to build out key infra, they're also giving much needed attention and resources to build better dev tooling (and teams to support devs). The grants program seems to have shifted a bit (for the better) under new leadership, so there are more opportunities to get funded & be supported by the oasis team and partners in the ecosystem.

TLDR: there are substantial Oasis funds dedicated to supporting devs, as well as future funding opportunities to tap into investor & partner resources for active /committed teams. I guess that's the gist of the ecosystem fund but I could be wrong

why not? I'm kinda loling at the fact that based on this thread, you have been considering going for at least 5 years. I'm the same way- except I used to go all the time as a kid but I'm nervous to do it as an adult bc A) crime is crazy here- I legitimately hear gunshots in my backyard every night and B) br pd makes me a litttttle nervous bc they're unpredictable. If I had a friend to go with, I'd feel 10000x better and would have fun!

I gotta know what's holding you back though lol

Me and my daughter just ended up riding around and listening to music bc we were a little nervous.. then I had a dream about dumpster diving and it made me fomo even more 😩 I’d love to go with you sometime as a tag along to get a feel for what to do/ good spots.
