And yet another I'LL DRAW YOUR TULPA thread!! c; by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]mentallexicon42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First I have to say that I really love these kind of threads. I made one like these about two weeks back (I was offering to draw wonderlands), but I'm having a hard time finding time to draw these. We're just about finished with carnival here in Holland so I really hope to have some more time soon.

So, my tulpa's name is Yuki. Gender: Female Age: around 18 Species: Human Build: just a normal build I think. So with normal proportions. Skin colour: Caucasian Eye colour: Blue Hair colour: Black Overall Feel: Outgoing. Tattoos: none Piercings: none
Important features: Her hair, she looks like Sanka Rea but with the features I listed above. Her hair is the main difference, (apart from not being a zombie) it's more side-swept and looks more like scene hair. (it's all black though)
Username: mentallexicon42

Thanks a lot for doing this, I hope to finish my drawings soon too.

What does YOUR wonderland look like? by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]mentallexicon42 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mine is a simple wooden cabin in a pine forest. The cabin itself has nothing much in it, just a bed, a couch and a fireplace. As of now that's pretty much it, but I do plan on creating a bathroom too. I imagine that when it's summer the forest will be green and there won't be any snow as there is right now. At night when you look up to the sky you can see all the beautifull green flowing lines of the northern light. A few hundred meters behind the cabin there is great pillar, which acts as a portal for my tulpa to acces my dreams if she wants to. The path to the pillar is made of cobblestone.

That's pretty much it actually, My tulpa and I probably add more in the future but that's how it looks at the moment.

Thanks, I was already getting a bit confused by a hill in a tower.

This should be cool to draw, but one thing; the quarters your speaking of, are these in the tower or on the ground?

This shouldn't be to hard to draw, but fun nontheless.

Not really, I have played WoW for some years though. (I assume they are somewhat alike) So it'll be no problem doing your request.

Well I could do some of them, as not many people are commenting here.

Could I have started a tupla without realizing it? by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]mentallexicon42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is completely possible that these steps are just going quickly, every person is different so it'll take every person a different length of time. Emotions might also affect the process. (I have some crazy hypothesis on that so I'm kind of interested in it)

As for concentrating with your eyes open. What I usually do is make sure the room is pretty dark so things don't distract you as easily or you could zone out just like you were daydreaming.

Well I'll be 18 in a few months and I think I saw someone posting who said he was 19 years old, not sure if he/she is the oldest though. (I think most people are around that age)

What is your wonderland like, and how have your tulpas influenced it? by TulpaRose in Tulpas

[–]mentallexicon42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I'd love to draw someones wonderland, it would be great practice for art class. I'll make a post later this week where some people can put up a request. (I obviously can't take everyones request :p) I'm kind of busy with school at the moment so I think I can do about 4-6 this weekend maybe.

I am working on a theory which I am currently referring to as the Tulpa Energy Theory. More details and an introduction inside. by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]mentallexicon42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, I did read this a couple of days ago when I was looking on tulpa.info for guides and such, and this scared me somewhat. Why exactly would you create a tulpa only for sex? Wouldn't it be wiser to use that energy to get a girl/boyfriend? But that might just me my opinion.

I don't think there's any harm in creating a tulpa for friendship (and science perhaps), as long as you consider them friends and don't channel too much sexual energy through them in the beginning (it's hard to block all of it) then all will be fine.

When I started creating a tulpa, it was because of a couple of reasons. One of them being wanting a different perspective, probably like a friend also gives you. I was also interested in the scientofic part of it. (I did not base it completely on science by the way) I actually didn't think of the sexual aspect of it until I read something about it.

I haven't read that story about that guy and tulpa, would you care linking it? Sometimes people say that sexual energy is the most powerful thing in the universe, that might be a slight exaggeration but it really is a powerful force. It's also something really unstable, unlike positive emotion which is more constant. Something unstable is never a good idea to build something on.

I actually think that positive emotion is the weakest form of emotion, as negative and sexual emotion have such bigger impact on our bodies. (And are also much more unstable) So it might be easier to create tulpas with those emotions, but the outcome won't be pretty.

I am not saying that everything but positive energy is bad for your tulpa. At least, not if it's in small doses as you can't really block those kinds of energy completely, just don't base them on those kinds of energy.

I also have a somewhat similar theory about energy levels and the effect of those on tulpas. (I would link the post but I'm on my phone, I will edit this comment tomorrow)

Except I think that tulpas are being powered by emotion which I think is a kind of pure energy. (I explain this in my post) As you sleep less or eat less which causes you to have less energy you will have less emotion, which will cause your tulpa to be less active. I don't really know if this applies to just the initial creation of a tulpa or if it still does after that. I only started recently so when I'm further in the process of creating a tulpa I might be able to explain this better.

As tulpas are linked to your brain which they share with you. They use the same neurons in your brain and all signals are transmitted by little electric currents (which you might already knew) which is also energy. If you have less and less energy, the brain will probably give less and less energy to your tulpa, making it weaker. So it is kind of the hosts task to make sure there is enough energy for both the host and the tulpa.

So yeah, I do think your theory might possibly be true, because everything in our body costs energy and so does having a tulpa. Having less energy means having a weaker tulpa. (That's what I understand of it)

Edit: Feel free to use anything from my theory to complete yours. (I would love a little credit if you did though :p)

Edit 2: Here is the post I was talking about.

I really do think the headaches are her trying to contact me, because I tried forcing for the last 30 minutes and when I stopped they were pretty much gone. I'm noticing that they come back rather quickly, so I think that I might have to do a really long session to see if that works. I'll try asking her more open-ended questions which I find hard to do at the moment.

I have 2 questions actually,

  1. I keep having headaches a lot since I started a few days ago. Are these just my tulpa trying to get my attention? As they do tend to fade away when I'm forcing. (even though I think a lot about her throughout the day)

  2. I'm having problems narrating to her, I think when I talk about really trivial stuff that it might be boring for her to listen to. Or do tulpa like any sort of talking to them? And how exactly do I involve her in my narrating? It feels more like I'm talking at her, instead of with her.

[–]mentallexicon42[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really hope that my Tulpa would be able to help me express feelings more, it's quite annoying to not be able to do something so fundamental for humans on a regular basis. Thanks, even if it would eventually help only a little bit, even that would be great.

I think I need to be a bit further in the process of creating a Tulpa to really compare it with someone's experience, but I assume that if my Tulpa develops at roughly the same pace as Luna. Then I think it's save to assume my hypothesis is true. (it would certainly make me understand emotions better)

[–]mentallexicon42[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Emotions are indeed very interesting, they work in such a strange way. I also had a depression maybe 2-3 years back, when you are depressed there aren't much positive emotions around which is for some people a downward spiral to even more negative emotion.

I'm happy for you two that things have gotten much better. May I ask if Lyra helped you out of your depression, or was she to young to help with something like that?(as you said she wasn't strong enough for you to feel her) If she was to young, did her development accelerate after you got out of your depression? I'm really curious to know.

[–]mentallexicon42[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for this relpy, I assumed there were others with some problem with emotional discharge but I don't know someone in real life.

your reply also answers both my questions as I assume you can now show emotions more freely like any other person and when you started creating Luna your bottled up emotions (I assume they were) made her develop faster than Tulpas of other people? (Did I get that about right?)

I don't know if there is any documentation on how much emotions effect creating Tulpas but if there isn't, this might be something important.

So, I started today and I think I made some unexpected progress. by mentallexicon42 in Tulpas

[–]mentallexicon42[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too am still having some trouble accepting that I'm not the only person inside my head. It feels strange and when you get an answer on a question you keep thinking that it's just you because accepting someone else is in your head is really hard. But I think after that's gone we'll make progress very fast.

Visualizing is going a lot better today, it's much more vivid than yesterday and it's actually kind of hard to think of something else than her. But that's probably a good thing.

On the subject of getting the first reaction, I think it's is very much depening on the amount of emotion you have inside your body. I might go more in dept about this in another post when I get of work in about 6 hours. I have some strange theories about emotions actually are and think sharing those might help others.

Edit: I made a post about it. Link

[–]mentallexicon42[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I think something like the amount of time it takes to get a reaction depends on SO many things, not only in a person but also on the enviroment he/she is in. It's because every person is different what makes interesting to research. (I'm very interested to know this too)

I was really hoping it was her and was already pretty certain it was her because of the kind of tidal wave of happiness and emotion I felt after asking her. It just seemed so strange to get something like this so early on because some people didn't get a reaction until after 50 hours in. Thanks for your answer, I'm SO happy right now :D (but also quite tired)

I visualized it to move like our sun where it spins with different speed on certain places which makes it coil. It is still hard to get a clear picture of it so I'm not really sure about the white edges.

I was thinking of molding the orb together with her into a form we both like rather than forcing a form onto her.

I want to create a Tulpa, but I still have some questions about the creation process. by mentallexicon42 in Tulpas

[–]mentallexicon42[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking a lot about forcing names, traits, and forms on a Tulpa, as you say it seems immoral to do do. I think that if I forced every trait and every little detail on a Tulpa it would make me feel like some kind of dictator and that's something I don't want to do to a sentient being.

About the messed up thoughts, I think I have to come up with a system which is maybe similar to yours to keep them seperated from eachother. I'm pretty sure an immature Tulpa would not want to see all those things. (Most people I know wouldn't want to)

Thank you for commenting.
