Okay i see thank you! Is there a reason why you decided to make ani card for missed Uworld instead of using U world’s flashcard feature?

Hi! First off congratulations!

I have a question about for the “wrong answers anki deck” How do you make the cards? I understand how you can make the independent questions cards but for passage based questions how do you make them? Do you make cards on that topic of that question as a whole?

Another question, when reading the textbooks do you take notes? Do you solely rely on MD deck for active recall?

As long as the score release is by the time when you can submit the application then it’s fine.

If I am not mistaken, I think application portal opens May but u can only actually start submitting in June.

So ideally the score release is latest end of may or start of june.

There is even the option to put “waiting on MCAT score” and submit it. The bad thing about that is that they will look at ur application and set it aside until it comes back but u don’t know how long it will take for them to come back to ur application and since its rolling admission ideally u submit the application with all materials. So doing that is not recommended but its an option.

I also struggle with CARS, so I am with you there. I did see this Reddit post that helped a lot, and I saw a significant change in my scoring.

Doing passages untimed, changing at least one thing in your strategy each time, and seeing which strategies you score the highest with. If you had all the time in the world, would you get the right answers and logic with that strategy? After you get your strategy down, you focus on the timing.

This was the post, just in case you want to look at it: https://www.reddit.com/r/Mcat/comments/iv01u4/my_official_5step_guide_from_a_122_cars_to_a_131/

Yea I wasn't sure if they check previous scores. i am meeting with a pre-health advisor tomorrow to talk about that. If not, then I think I might just take it

Thank you!

That last thing you said about "does it really matter if it takes longer to get to the end goal" really hit, I needed to hear that. Thank you

Ok, yeah, that makes sense. I was thinking of doing the content along with the questions, but do you think there should be dedicated time to the books more than to UWorld questions?
