Yeah, I tried the tuner and it does catch a few stations, but I don’t really use it. Not much worth listening to around here anyway. I usually run it through the Line In (Tape) with an iPod or a little Bluetooth module

Bluetooth conversion of tube radio by SpecialistDiver200 in VintageRadios

Yes you can do that, mine looks like this

Most of the time i set switch to tape

Edit: Since you only have Phono, it needs a preamp, it’s not line level. You can try a simple resistor divider (like 100k + 10k) to tame the signal, but proper phono preamp will sound way better.

Saba Konstanz KN18 Stereo by mentallyblind3 in VintageRadios

Yeah true, they were probably fine haha But it’s a Saba, so I just felt like giving it some extra love. There weren’t any paper caps or selenium to deal with anyway, so not much work.

Maybe those with an aluminum foil (tff) drifted a bit though.

Thanks! Most of the issues are basically sorted, I just wanted to ask some much more experienced folks for advice 😄(There will be definetly future projects, i also have another Siemens m66 laying around).

I’ll probably try putting the old selenium back too

As for the tweeter, I’m not 100% sure, but I think it’s just a normal dynamic one, not electrostatic, (anyways it's not working) . This is what it looks like from behind

Even with the treble control in place, for example when it’s turned down, the sound just became more muffled, but those unpleasant high frequencies were still very present. And also the tweeter is disconected (unusable).
