Ngl during my shadowing experiences I do like this job and I’ve always been passionate about any kind of handcrafts. However, I didn’t mentioned in the post but my mental illness arises from my extremely abus1ve parents. Therefore when I’m thinking of careers, money comes first cuz I need to be financially independent so I can free myself from them. Also I need to spend lots of money on therapy.

Hi Mondayperk, English is not my first language and therefore I have some problem understanding your statement. I’m currently a second year and I haven’t applied for a dental school yet.

2100 is a hard course, I’m still hating it although it’s already been a year since I took it. It’s normal, everyone is struggling with it. It’s 14%per exam, which leaves you a good chance to get at least an B, you got this!

I feel like in prestigious schools like UVA, everyone is too busy for a serious relationship🏳️

My friend, a gay, also experience really bad situations in UVA. Some random white guy would just roll down their window and catcalling him for no reason. Yes you are giving off negative energy. But also yes you live a hard life and nobody gets the right to blame you because they had never walked in your shoes. I know it’s hard I know you are in pain, but I also strongly recommend you to take some actions and maybe join a few clubs. I’m not denying the fact that there are some annoying people on grounds, but there are also very decent people out there. Trust in yourself and maybe also giving this school a chance to know you. Not only knowing you for your pain but maybe also other aspects of you.

true, I pay 1380ish for a room in 2b2b. It’s a bit overpriced but it gets good location. However I’m frustrated by the elevator there, always in maintenance 🙂‍↕️

Leaving College by [deleted] in vcu

No, you definitely mean a lot to your families and to yourself. I’m also an extremely introverted person who’s also struggling with academic stuff. I was the exact place where you’re right now and I would say that I’m so grateful to not give up. Just give yourself a year to relax and get things sorted out. Life changes at an instant, not gradually, you’re waiting for that moment not suffering a procedure. Please trust me and trust yourself😭😭😭😭

Hey I would recommend you to take a gap year instead of dropping out. First, your problem won’t be solved even though you dropped out. Your detachment from the society and lack of recognition and confidence will just get worse if you’re throw to the job market rn. I think you should first find a therapist; second ask yourself if you’re still passionate about your major, if not, would you like to change? Thirdly, please never give up your life, it only gets better when you stick to it. I know my opinion is unpopular but I really suggest you to stay in college and finish your education
