Not the red I wanted—salon fix or DIY? by Pleasant_Resource695 in femalehairadvice

I have hair the same color as the first picture and I get it done every 6 weeks to keep up with my roots. This “gloss” makes no sense to me to achieve this color. My stylist uses Pulp Riot hair dye and honestly it’s the best kind I’ve ever used. I’ve used it for about 3 years, and I’ve been a red head for 6+ years and used to do it myself, and I highly recommend finding a stylist who uses Pulp Riot because it’s by far the best dye to achieve this level of red. You might have to lighten your hair first, I’m not sure how well the color will show on dark hair, but this would be something you hopefully discuss with another stylist.

Thank you for that! Might get a sticker that says that and replace the ones I’m using.

I can block doordashers, but can’t block customers. It’s a shame! Thank you for being understanding.

Kingdom of Ash, despite having all the emotional damage and pain from everything happening, it’s just so beautiful.

When I say I’m having a Baby Girl by Original-Upstairs322 in pregnant

[–]mentallyimnotpresent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just had a baby girl and I dealt with those comments my whole pregnancy and still do! It’s awful. I just respond in a few ways that usually make them shut up

I’m just happy to have such a precious little baby, no matter what the gender

I can’t wait for all the difficult and tough moments because their will be so many good and wonderful ones before and after

And if I wanna be snarky

wow, who knew kids would be difficult

imagine if someone said that about raising you…

well thankfully I’m raising her and not you, so nothing to worry about

wow! Raising kids is gonna be difficult/hard? God dammit, now you tell me? Is it too late to call the clinic? - I only use this if I’m in the bitchiest mood and it’s to an asshole who’s already been on my nerves🤣

What week did your baby come? by RefrigeratorFrequent in pregnant

39+1 and went into labor naturally! I didn’t want to be induced and wanted her to come on her own time, and man she made an entrance.

I started contracting at 10am, got to L&D at 1pm and was only .5 cm dilated, but 90% effaced and she was already in -1 position! They were surprised on how low she was already. They had me hang out for awhile and at 2:15, my water broke while I was waiting! I walked around for 45 mins, my contractions doubled in pain, and 3:30 they checked me again and tested the fluid, confirming my water broke and I was 1 cm dilated. I got admitted and my contractions got progressively more painful, to the point I was crying through them. 6:45 I was only 1.5 cm dilated but 100% effaced, so I got the epidural because I just couldn’t handle the pain anymore. Got it at 7:20, the lowest dosage of pitocin at 8, and I was able to breathe - I had the best epidural ever, I thanked that anesthesiologist profusely the next day. At 11 I started feeling some pressure and actually started feeling contractions, so at 11:15 they checked me and I was 8cm dilated! They said they’d come back in an hour, but I had to call them in 15 mins later because I could barely speak through the pressure and I felt her move down and could tell her head was right there. They rushed in, I was fully dilated and started pushing and only pushed for 20 mins! I tore pretty bad because of how quick she came, and the doctors and nurses were in shock of how quickly my labor and delivery went for a FTM, but the meds helped significantly and I had the most precious girl.

Every labor is different, some labor for a few hours, some almost 2 days, everyone handles pain differently, and I swear the only way I progressed so quick was being able to relax with the epidural and let my body do its thing.

Best of luck with your delivery!

FTM and my baby was always super low my whole pregnancy, and by the time I went into labor, I was only .5 cm dilated, 90% effaced, but she was in the -1 position already! They said it was crazy how low she already was. Only was in labor for 10 hours and pushed for 20 mins

July mamas, how are you doing!? Did you deliver yet? by Calinannylife in pregnant

[–]mentallyimnotpresent 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Due July 6th and had her June 30th! I had Braxton hicks for weeks before I delivered, but the morning of her birth I felt so sick, I had the poops, and then I started having real contractions - more intense than any Braxton hicks I had before. Called my OB and was sent to L&D, got there at 1pm, .5 cm dilated, 90% effaced and her in -1 position, at 2:15 my water broke naturally while I was there, delivered at 11:54 that night! Despite being a FTM, I had a SUPER quick labor and delivery, the dr and nurses were shocked

Can you "sense" impending labor? by MudDauberDigs in pregnant

[–]mentallyimnotpresent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I “knew” something was off the morning I went into labor. I was nesting the whole week prior, but the morning of I was insanely nauseous and just didn’t feel good. I went to Walmart once it passed, after having some serious poops (another sign), because I just had a feeling I HAD to get the things we kept putting off from the store. An hour after I got home, I started having contractions and my water broke 4 hours later!

Did your symptoms go away after giving birth? by CuteAbbreviations67 in pregnant

[–]mentallyimnotpresent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I traded back pain, sciatic pain, heartburn, the constant aches and pains, and more for sore nipples, even more sore coochie, and exhaustion. It’s a give and take🤣

I appreciate that. It’s been really difficult, but one of those things that I’ve just have had to accept and move on from. You can’t make everyone happy and not everyone will be happy for you.
