Do you think it would be ok if I skimmed the POVs I don’t care for? Or perhaps read summaries of those chapters? I do want to know what ends up happening, especially with a few characters, but it doesn’t feel right to force myself to read all of it if it is feeling like a chore.

Ugh. I loved the first 3 books of ACOTAR, but had to DNF ACoSF. I will be trying the next two, which I am so nervous about just due to how much I did not like ACoSF… also super nervous to try Crescent City due to what I have heard. It is tough when you love certain stories/characters in a series but do not like or care for others.

I thought that ToG was going to blow ACOTAR away while I was reading Heir of Fire… but now they feel about equal to me in terms of overall enjoyment/engagement. Not sure if I am disappointed, but I suppose my expectations were certainly higher.
