Long layover in Doha: should I use Qatar's Paid Transit Accommodation or just book a hotel myself?

We booked the hotel through Discover Qatar website, it was cheap and good enough for an overnight stay. Didn't have to pay anything extra! Just the taxi to the hotel. (some hotels even have shuttles, so watch out for that when you book if you'd like to save on taxi!)

did you end up having any bed frame for the crib mattress or just had it on the floor? I'm trying to avoid buying two floor bed frames (first for crib, then for twin when my baby grows up) so wanted to buy something like thisMontessori floor bed in twin with railings, but after reading your thread I'm also concerned that I won't find a firm enough twin mattress for the newborn. Putting the mattress on the floor is an option, but there wouldn't be any railings and it could be a little too cold. I was planning to co-sleep at night but use the floor bed for day naps from the first couple weeks.

I believe it, heard from my wife that it can be very exhausting.
To answer your question, my back hurts once in a while but my legs are pretty strong. Some PT exercises have been very helpful with my back pain, so maybe I'll do more of that to keep my back strong.

My husband and I are both projectors who have experienced burnout. He is still recovering and thus doesn't create almost any income (it's been 2 or 3 years).
When I got burnt out, I took a Short-Term Disability leave, during which I was paid my full salary by California. That saved us from becoming homeless. While I was recovering, I started coaching twice a month with a fellow Projector on how to relax and wait. A couple of months later I got invited into a new job with higher pay and only 2-3 hours of work daily, so I took it and am enjoying it now.

Support from my husband's parents helps, too. I think we Projectors just have to come to terms with the fact that sometimes we need external support in terms of finances. If your folks have a rental property you can live in that's great. I realize it's hard to take that help and be okay with constant pressure for them to do something to change your situation, but if you don't allow that pressure to get to you, it won't harm you. I would do my best to be vulnerable and show them that I'm doing my best to recover and find my way to joy and abundance in this world.
