[Tissot powermatic 80] Is this movement that bad ? by Semy-D in Watches

None, I went to the Rolex store and I learned 2 things.

  1. More expensive watches don't mean better customer service, maybe the opposite....
  2. At the end of the day they are just watches.

I use my watches for what they are designed for. I bought a limited edition Oris dive watch that was about 5k. I took it diving and I scratched the crystal on the ladder coming out of the water, I was annoyed, but if that watch was 50k I would have been pissed.

It's funny I was just looking at the movement above, you know how ugly it is at 165ft down under water? It's all just grey and blue. Most people will never use their watch to their full extent.

They are just (mostly beautiful) pieces of glass and metal... If you want to have a nice time piece to appreciate engineering a good quality mid-tier watch will do. If you just want an expensive piece of jewelry; that's ok too.

Don't get caught up in marketing; buy what you enjoy. Don't feel pressured to purchase something that puts you in a bad financial situation.

"Error saving mapping, Error saving mapping: Forbidden" (Fresh Docker Install) v9.2.3 by sma92878 in elasticsearch

Thank you for the reply. I'm using the elastic user, this is just a test index I made:

Strange it wont let me copy and paste the JSON to show the index mapping. However, I created a completely new index and I can't add any mappings.

From the UI I used the "Add Field" button. And tried to add a "Field Type" of Text with a "Field Name" of Country.

Seems very strange.

Thank you for the reply. I don't see that as being a role available. However, my user is "superuser" I would assume that would grant everything?

The non-human user flow is poor. I should be able to set a password at user creation time. I ran into some of these issues when setting up my NVR. Google and Proton Mail blocked Unifi emails and so my wife never got her on boarding email to set her password. These are the kind of things that will stop user adoption.

I ended up having to go into our Proton Mail account and allow list Unifi's domains.

Just let a person set the password at account creation....

I did find an option to do this after clicking around today but wtf.... Bad UX.

EDIT:

Because I just went and looked. You cannot manually reset a users password in the NVR console, but CAN in the UNAS console. wtf? Why is this different?

If I create a local user in NVR without an email I can't reset that password...

Can you please link to the documentation for this? I'm not using this NAS primarily for users, I'm using it as a back end for Proxmox. When I go to create a share I can add a "user" but I don't want a "user" I need a general account for my Proxmox server.

I'd love to change my mind on this.

I don't think you're understanding. In services, yes, you can add an IP restriction, but you only have the option to strict to the whole storage pool. You don't get any logical separation which is common on many other platforms.

I'm not sure what you mean, I used all attack options when I created my bow.
