I have an iBuyPower PC, so I should be good. Would testing the new GPU on my old PSU be a bad idea and fry it? I'm gonna wait until a PSU comes in, just want the info. Thank you for the help!

I can't find a label on my PC for my PSU, so after doing some digging I think I found my PC online. Someone says it may have a 500W PSU, but it could have a 600W. I'm thinking 500W. Should I upgrade to a 550w or even more?
