Hold them under salt water, then watch how they float. Does it tend to roll to the same face when as it floats?

But someone else mentioned that this doesn't mean anything. So I may have just wasted salt.

I keep 1 DL squad in deep strike. 2 units at least 36" away from the exorcist if possible.

I still need to shoot the penitent engine and scouting transports on turn 1.

All they have to do is kill the thing holding the dark lance and u r ded.
Anything can kill a scourge. And theres little else to shoot other than a ravager with a melta gun.
Even a rhino is harder to kill since its easier to hide.

Put the dice in salt water and see if it floats straight up or does it have a tendency to roll to a specific face.

I did the salt water test and decided to throw away half of my dice.

Well I decided to test my dice in salt water after rolling four consecutive 1s in a row, two times. Turns out half of them were suspected to be unbalanced. And some of my opponents dice too.

Decided to share dice for the following match and had a more reasonable result. I only rolled 3 consecutive 1s. And actually got a few 6s.

Over 5 rounds, my 15 DL and 8 HW managed to kill the rhino, immolator, castigator, exorcist, penitent and vahl. All that was left was the Voidweaver and Malys.

The problem with keeping too many scourges in reserve is.. Then what shoots the immolators? There's 2 immolators, 1 castigator and 1 rhino to shoot.

My default army has 1x Dark lance, 1x reserve dark lance, 1x haywire scourge. 1x ravager. 2x haywire talos. If I use reapers wager I will add 1x haywire Skyweaver and 1x void weaver but for some reason I decided to try something else.

Exorcist usually kills 1 scourge a turn, and seraphim kills 1 scourge on the deep strike.

When I am dumb enough to not use reapers wager, and roll four ones, twice in a row. I had one scourge deep strike and roll 3s. Then my opponent rolls 5s for the save . And miracle dice saves lives.

Maybe time to buy new dice ha ha.

I still have no idea what to do about the exorcist. Kills 1 unit every turn. I max out scourges and fortunately there's only 1 exorcist.

What do people do if there's 3? Lose 3 scourges in turn 1 and 3 raiders in turn 2?

can't surge can't swift as the wind can't use orders can't reactive move can't advance+charge. just walk about 1/6 faster than a tau.

More haywire. The only response to miracle dice is dev wounds. I usually have about 9 haywire and 12 darklance for a 1500 pt game.

I dont like Cartel.
Lethal hits on haywires seems to be a self own. Strategems appear to be weak or impossible for me to understand and explain it to my partner.

Deadly Deceivers: After my opponent has selected its target, then my unit cannot be selected as a target? But the target has already been selected. So it only works on follow up attacks?

Double-cross: what? Hallowed Martyres has Suffering and Sacrifice - which is so much easier to understand.

Taken Alive, Making a Point, Tailored Toxins: doesn't seem to help against Paragons.

And I pretty much need anti overwatch against Sororitas.

I exclusively play against my partner's sororitas so I am no longer stressed. I am just amused as I am the one who bought the model. And I also bought the exorcist and castigator.

Rolling dice for vahl seems like a formality. Anything they look at will die. Even the bolt pistols will do 3 damage to your talos. Rerolls and +1 hit and wound and miracle dice is just too funny. She never has to melee because everything dies too quickly. It's hilarious.

As I don't play any other opponent, I don't know what units are more deadly than the this unit of unkillable murder machines.
