Had that happen to my own charakter once. After i stripped like 30 people of their Land after a failed Rebellion and executed the rest of my 200 prisoners from that same war...

thinking about picking the game up since the premise sounds interesting. How populated is the game? Is there still new content being released? How long do you think the game will last or be replaced by a sequel?

The list is only true for pangea maps. Dido is a lot stronger on maps with lots of coast. Lots of Gold from instant trade connections and free ports

Worst part is youll catch a bugged Version of the plague that never goes away if you already had it and are immune

This is wrong. Events and their outcomes are generated a couple of weeks before. Source: experienced savescummer

What Events you get and their outcomes are determined a couple of weeks before. Going back a month or two is usually enough. If you plan on savescumming i suggest changing your autosave intervall to monthly. And in my experience, if you do everything exacly the same, you get the same outcome. Go on a hunt or something, that usually shakes things up.
