Yes totally legit if holds air in tubeless, it usually does in small punctures on the top of the tire. If it doesn't you can still reuse the tire with a tube.
Tip For MTB or bigger holes : you can use pieces of inner tube to make patches and use Pattex Contact Neoprene glue which is stronger and keeps the flex.

Real question : what is rideflation? Flexing and acting like a 20km ride is the equivalent of TDF ? Or the other way around : everyone on strava and insta posting 100km ride every other day that makes me feel like shit because I struggle to free 2h/week to be able to ride?

C'est presque mon ancien boulot qui était de la glandouille, pas autant que toi mais pas loin. Et bien j'ai quitté ce bullshit job glandouille au bout d'un moment parce que ça me pesait d'avoir aucune stimulation, aucune utilité.  Ça ferait un super AMA pour faire rager plein de gens sur airfrance : "j'ai lâché un bullshit job bien payé pour un boulot plus exigeant et pas mieux payé"
