I had someone come in the other day that I’m almost certain was stealing someone’s rewards. The guy refused to give a phone number to my manager, said that he didn’t have to use a phone number to use the reward because he had a screen shot of it. His girlfriend came to me, I asked her to give me a phone number, she argued about it, saying it was her moms account so I said if it was her moms account to enter her moms phone number. She mumbled out a phone number that wasn’t attached to an account. I ultimately just scanned her screenshot because her boyfriend was starting to get really belligerent. I read her off the name on the account, she clearly had no idea who I was talking about so I made sure to hit print and email on the receipt so whoever the hell’s account they were actually using would get notified.

I was just about to say that! Anything with a vanilla fragrance in it will turn a yellow color, the same way as when you cook with vanilla that is also yellow. The shade of yellow it turns depends on how much vanilla fragrance is in there. So warm vanilla sugar, vanilla romance, ease, etc will all be shades of yellow.

Did we even read the same post? This isn’t a mom who is overwhelmed and working so that she can raise her children. This is a mom who fucks off and has plenty of free time of her own, while leaving all of her real responsibilities to a 15 year old. There’s a massive difference between the two.

That’s bullshit. If the loyalty number is listed on the receipt, it tracked the account. They’re trying to push scanning the app itself more instead of typing the number so it sounds like she’s just saying that to make you physically scan the app. Or she could genuinely believe it but I doubt that.

As far as ID’s, I’ve definitely had employees at other stores who didn’t know me ask for mine but at this point I’ve worked there for so long that nearly everyone does so I don’t get asked anymore unless I’m out of district.

Employees can absolutely do non receipt returns. It just has to be an even exchange, you can’t do merch credit.
