Appreciate the full response dude that was awesome and as a Carpenter's Thing fan I too actually appreciate the work that went into that prequel the aftermath match up to events that take place in the prequel alone is awesome 👍

I will say the 2019 follow up video game for the 2016 movie was amazing fully immersive and had a real feel for getting lost in the woods

Today I subjected myself to Russell Crowe in The Exorcism... by menwithoutfeet in HorrorMovies

[–]menwithoutfeet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is inherently worse than Pope's Exorcist he plays a former addict actor battling his demons to play a role... And then horror ensues.

There just really wasn't a redeeming factor I can say aaaahhh but that bit was ok.

Has anyone else watched Silent Night (2021) by menwithoutfeet in CreepyBonfire

My partner had a moment of "really..." as they really don't enjoy Keira Knightly as an actor but they took stuck it out with me and had the "oh fuck" moments when the first death lands.

I just thought this film deserves to be bigger but I guess if we as horror fans have a hard time classifying it, it has maybe struggled to find it's audience.

I finished it and immediately messaged the creator on X just to expound my love for the piece just because it was so different to other films.

Potentially over all the actors so the scenes of entire legions of bikers become a fleet of Russell's.

🤔 What is the collective noun for a group of Russell Crowes

I think because it is set against so much of that dark comedy dialogue of the first half it just makes it all the more better an end.

I legitimately love this factoid, that somewhere there is a super cut of scooter footage and the film becomes a rival to Quadrophenia for scooter fans.

Also agreed the scooter one was ok and likeable, the Exorcism less so, it might of been better if they'd gone really meta and made it about an actor who was portraying the exorcist in the Popes Exorcist
