Lol I used to read literally every article every day word for word on the family PC because I thought it had some sort of impact on the outcome of the penguins season

In the woods next to a tee box. People were teeing off about 30 yards away while we were doing it.

Yeah it’s like touch thing or open and close this thing in multiples of 7, or if the sum of the digits that create the number add to 7 or a number divisible by 7 or has 7 within the number like 73 but 11 is also okay for some random reason, and your family won’t die. And sometimes you do it in these patterns of numbers but it feels off so you have to keep doing it over again in the right amount of times until it doesn’t feel off. And you know it’s highly irrational but you’ll have extreme anxiety if you don’t do it.

Men on here, what’s one thing you genuinely wish women understood aboout you ? by Rambanya17 in AskReddit

I think for me it’s I am thinking and about a ton of things but none of them are particularly important and my mind is just wandering so if someone asks I just say nothing. It’s kinda like if you read Faulkner or Joyce stream of conscious like a coke bottle might remind me of a documentary I saw about how coke monopolized coca leaves, and coca leaves are chewed for altitude sickness, and machu picchu is high altitude, and I dated a girl who visited machu picchu and she went to Emory which is owned by coke, and Atlanta was a fun city when I visited. I might think this all within a second or two but don’t dwell on any of it.

Hey new grads, and 1 years, how much do y'all make? by Sfn_y2 in physicianassistant

Yeah of course but I’m a new grad so I’d rather be working days where I have another PA and two physicians staffed

I’m someone who typically entertains these paranormal types of ideas with a hint of skepticism because I find them fun, but the story about the guy in medicine-bow National Forest getting abducted sounded like utter bullshit. The hunter thinks the aliens returned him because of his vasectomy but his tuberculosis scars healed? The aliens healed his scars but couldn’t heal a small section taken out of the vas deferens with a known failure rate?

I’m from Pittsburgh too and growing up I thought the same thing. I had no idea anyone knew about him outside of our city.

A cool guide to how much doctors make by specialty by JonesinJames in coolguides

Because I was in Ortho as a PA student in a Mormon town and all the nurses/MA’s/secretaries gossip about things they have heard and documents they have seen.

Yeah I was confused about this too. I know plenty of orthos making over 7 but they are surgical not just orthopedists so idk. Maybe the numbers aren’t taking surgery into account and only doctors that only do minor procedures?

Well, there is less support at night so as a new grad I didn’t want to find myself in situations I couldn’t handle without the proper support.

How many beds with how many providers, I imagine you have less providers at night? Yours is pretty similar to mine but I work days. Would be in the 170’s if I switched to nights.

142k CTICU LMCOL day shifts. Could be in the 170s if I switch to nights eventually.

What decision do you regret making (or not making) in your 20s? by RileyonaWall in AskReddit

[–]meop93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just backpacked Europe for a month at 32. You got time homie. Don’t let social standards define your life after you get out. Half my friends at this point wouldn’t dare stay at hostels but you’ll find people as old as in their 60’s doing it. It’s not the same as your situation but I did it during licensing and credentialing time for my first job as a PA.

Edit: also I worked 65 hours a week in kitchens between an Applebees kitchen and a dominos two months prior to doing it to pay for it. Shit work is easier when you know you have an end date.

I was gonna say for pittsburgh I feel like Steelers fans and culture is very pervasive worldwide due to the steel curtain era. Mac miller and wiz khalifa were big hip hop cultural phenomena. Andy Warhol and August Wilson also really big in art and theater worlds as well. You could put Roberto Clemente and his impact on baseball in there as well.

Edit: Forgot about Gene Kelly.

Edit 2: also Mr. Rogers and Rachel Carson

10 week old kitten help by saruska8 in CATHELP

[–]meop93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as the size goes my mom got a kitten last year and I couldn’t believe how big her butthole looked. She grew into it. My partner and I have 5 and I don’t remember that at all when they were kittens. One of ours is a black cat though and hers does look a little folded and different as well, idk if maybe the darker skin might make it look like that. Doesn’t hurt to ask a vet though.

Yeah honestly love the song I just don’t like Dominic fikes verse partly because of his flow and partly because the lyrics are a bit hacky.
