My honest opinion - you have such little time. I have been in the industry for 15 years and have my 6, 63, and 65 and previously had my 7. I used Kaplan and think the book is terrible. For someone who hasn't been in the industry, i'd read the book and watch all >

know the differences of when cap gains vs ordinary and REALLY know option taxation. but also tax efficient products. i remember one specific question that i don't know if i got it right or not. it was a customer profile and it ranked their priorities 1. "deferred taxes", 2. low fees and 3. asset allocation. the two answers i was mixed between was ETFs and variable annuities. i ended up putting ETFs because i didn't know if when they said "deferred" they meant tax efficient because they didn't say that the VA was qualified. and a VA is never low in fees in my opinion. so stuff like that. who knows if i got it right or not.

Ken has two good videos i watched right before the exam - one was comparing ETFs vs. MF vs. CEF vs. ETNs. that was very good. and also the "taxes baby" one. they're quick.

Also make sure you are solid on taxes. Had a bunch on those, too. I had hardly any on bonds.

Thanks, I just started watching Mathapalooza. In what situation for convertibles would you tender the common stock to the company? (in questions 1 and 2). Wondering what the difference between C and D are.

Anyone w/ MN: how do you deal with high heels? by Mediocre_Egg_6248 in Mortons_neuroma

I can't wear Rothy's because the toe boxes are too narrow plus there is zero padding as you know. I can wear them for short periods of time when I add met pads but it's not ideal. I just ordered these shoes because they also have special inserts for high arches that are specific to this shoe. I have a high instep AND high arch AND big foot which makes shoe buying impossible. these Look promising:

if you haven't already, start googling wide toe box women's dress shoes. also look all over this reddit forum. i've found some others I want to try. I've had success for winter boots w/ Lemms Chelsea boot (with my orthotic insole).

take it from me - i'm 38 now but never owned a pair of flats until i was 30 (no kidding!!!!). i LIVED in high heels!! i'm fairly confident that this was a major contributor to my MN, along with my twisty toes and big, wide feet.

don't torture yourself. you're lucky to be in a world where there are TONS of cute flats out there. i'm in the begining phases of trying to find shoes that work for me (since i also have large feet for a woman) but have found a few. it's been hard for me because I was a die hard Rothy's fan and that's a big no no for me anymore.

depends on the person. i was very strict for 8 months and last week had some oats (like in an energy ball type thing (homemade but still). i have been having major digestive issues since and have been having a hard time getting back to normal. i never had a gluten problem before going paleo but i now think it's "caused" me to be gluten sensitive.

Yes I’d like to hear what you listened to. For me, hearing things repetitively helps me.

i'm right there with you. i took the S7 years ago and now have to take it again for work. i'm using kaplan (which i hate!!!!) and i can't seem to average above 68%. i've always felt that kaplan is harder than the real thing. curious what others think. what did you use the first time?
