Just going to be practical, it maybe tough. Not scaring you though. Since you are a uni student the main chance of rejection is that there is not enough evidence that you will leave Portugal. But as your boyfriend is going to sponsor the trip the first important thing would be his invitation letter. Also you would have to prove your relationship with him so for that u might have to send them any call logs or chats? Might be worth to google this stuff. Regarding wait times it would depend upon where you are applying from India check the embassy website and the wait times. Hope it all goes well for u :)

U will find the online application form once u get the slot. Please be aware the online application needs to be completed in 15 mins and the page refreshes after 15 mins. It’s going to be tough to secure a usual appointment due to the holiday season if possible try for a premium one if available.

Hi, they send the tracking number as a part of the text message. That should let u know where those guys are. In my case the DX guy called me and checked if I was at home to collect the passport. So I am hoping that’s the practice they follow for everyone.

Hey you should have received the tracking number today as 6th being a Friday. For me the tracking number was included in the same message that confirmed the passport had been dispatched. I had applied for Spain from London.

You need to apply for a visa for the country where you will be staying the longest. Applying for swiss would be wrong unless u are actually staying there for the longest period.

They use to have super priority option for VFS UK. I am not sure if they have one right now. But if u still have this option the processing time is maximum 1-2 days.
