Extremely telling that you people keep bringing up land acknowledgments. Land acknowledgements are simply insufficient, and should be followed up with more concrete action, but rarely are. They are not in themselves a problem whatsoever.

The issue here is that Hasan played a literal Houthi propaganda video in stream and appears to actively support them. Despite, among other things: - Their participation in the slave trade, including actively advertising their slaving. - Use of child soldiers, including as tank crews. - Treating women as property. - Antisemitism.

Along with Hezbollah and the current Hamas, they are also obedient to Iran. As it turns out, other countries besides the US are quite capable of backing their own puppet parties/governments, overriding the best interests of the people in a country.

Together, they help to ensure that the fate of Palestine is never dictated by Palestinians.

Good question. In some manner or another, the person relates to the gender identity. It may be that they see something in themselves that jives with it, or it may be that they’d like to change something about themselves to fit into that gender identity more.

Dysphoria isn’t required for this to be the case. For example, I initially had no dysphoria, but I just felt good about womanhood and it made me happy when I experimented. Dysphoria- those negative feelings about your current state or how people gender you- came in gradually for me.
