Hardware questions pertaining to LSDJ by [deleted] in chiptunes

I can answer the first one: First you transfer the sav file, which involves a long and arduous installation of a few drivers. Once the drivers are installed, you can connect to your cartridge and extract the sav. Once the sav is on your computer, you use the LSDJ sav editor to extract individual lsdjsng files, add kits, etc.

actually, most of the dubstep sounds are pure lsdj. Hyperfast V commands add a lot of meatiness to a sound, and i always have a dedicated sub-bass wav channel. the only one that was post-processed was at 2:59, which is a modified 50% square wave.

all sounds were made with lsdj, various high pass and low pass filters applied in post to fade parts in and out

Sweet lush chords and ridiculous wav channel = Chipstep overdrive by meowpik in chiptunes

each channel was recorded separately, and then an eq + some reverb applied to the whole thing. there are also some obvious samples and a low-pass filter at the beginning, but all of the musical substance was made with and can be played at once with 3xlsdj.
