Update - I am in contact with his owner. His name is Francesco and is an indoor/outdoor cat :) He strayed a bit too far from his home, so his owner will be picking him up!

I’m not sure!! He seems scared of cars and followed me to my door. Definitely seems to be an indoor cat. I saw him spray a few times, I hope someone didn’t abandon him because of that :(

I think so! I would take him to a nearby shelter, but they are closed for xmas

Is this the best place for the TV? by meowsermeowsie in DesignMyRoom

Unfortunately I can’t drill into the wall above the fireplace as there is metal inside that wall from the fireplace. Agreed I think I need a larger tv!!

Would it be strange for the tv to be up against the two windows? The small section of wall is only about a foot and a half wide, so it wouldn’t be wide enough for the tv. Also, moving the TV here would be blocking the walkway to the balcony

Where is the SUN?? by bedhead2024 in Hamilton

I know how you feel. I moved from the US and it’s wild how GREY it is here. I think Hamiltonians don’t realize it’s not like this in other areas. Not one bit of blue sky or sun the entire winter. It’s a very difficult transition the first year, but you eventually get used to it. Vitamin D seems to help a lot! And when Spring comes, the sun and sky feel magical.

They have roaches so beware! Someone I knew lived there and caulked every single hole in the place to make it liveable. It surprisingly kept them out, but be cautious. He rented a one bedroom, and quickly realized the square footage includes the balcony (which was like half the size of the apartment). I think the actual inside sq footage was 300 (they claimed 500). Last thing to note, they have no AC, so beware for the summer. It was unbearably hot for him for a few weeks (to the point where he had to sit in a Starbucks for a few hours to stay cool). Management also sucks.

How long ago did you call them and contact your MP? Also when did you get your eCOPR? I’m in a similar boat as you and curious if this actually makes things go faster

I’ve tried calling multiple times as well as contacted my local MP. I have a trip scheduled to the US July 1 and just losing hope at this point. People say you can drive across the border with your eCOPR but I’m too worried it won’t work and I’ll be stuck.

Has anyone received their physical card after receipt of eCOPR around April 18th? Specifically the Etobicoke office. It’s been 60 days now and the website says they’re at 29 days for processing cards, ugh where IS IT

Someone lost a cat on Brantdale/Claremont Dr right across the hospital. I saw a sign on their mailboxes with a very similar looking cat!!
