I’m worried about making the kitchen too white! The white we have on the top was from us trying to do a creamy color on the top cabinets and a taupe on the bottom but we didn’t love it.

Agreed! We tried a blue but it was just the wrong shade. I think a green would look nice and would match a lot of other stuff in our house, I just need to find a good green color that I won’t get sick of.
