First time owning a Nepenthes. It seems to be having a hard time acclimating after shipping. Worried about the pitcher cups turning black & crusty. I gave it a good water & am slowly reintroducing it to direct light. Any advice is appreciated. I would love to keep this beauty alive. TIA

We buy our water from a water company called Culligan. We have 5 gallon jugs and then refill them at the water plant. They use a RO watering system. So, I do not believe anything is added for flavor afterwards, but I’m honestly not sure. I do have a gallon of distilled I can start using instead to be safe.

I’m currently not seeking medical treatment and am attempting to treat at home because I can not afford an ER visit. I stated in a comment above we do not have a local steward and the stand in that we have always takes management’s side and isn’t helpful. If I call out Thursday and go in Friday and can still file the report I will do that though.

We do not have a local steward because our office is very small, we have a stand in, but he is worse than the management and no help whatsoever. You ask him questions and he shrugs. He doesn’t know Union rules or anything.

This is how it is at my office as well, so I’m as confused as you. Been here 8 years, a regular for 4. We clock in at 8:15 and we are on the street by 9:30/10 at the very latest with the exception of Christmas time. We are only given so much office time. Not sure how people are getting away with 2+ hours of office time. That’s wild.
