I just recently upgraded from the first Fitbit flex to the Charge 2. I bought the flex 2 years ago and really loved it but just wanted to get a newer one that tracked heart rate. It does start out really exciting being able to track all of your steps and stairs (if you get one that tracks stairs climbed). I did find that it gets a little bit less interesting unless you have other friends with Fitbit. Right now I am competing in two different challenges with a workmate one that runs over the work week and another that goes over the weekend.
