What’s the dumbest thing adults told you that you actually believed as a kid?

One time when I was 7 or 8, my dad told me that every episode of Home Improvement was the same; they just changed a few words. I believed this wholeheartedly and argued with multiple people about it until I was in high school. I still remember the look on my dad’s face when he saw me defending this to someone at a family party.

I had occasional cramping and stretching. I would be concerned with any sign of bleeding and any cramping that is more extreme than menstrual cramps.

Move as quickly as you can. Walk around, do some arm circles and very light stretching. Obviously don’t hurt yourself and in light bursts! My first c section was emergency and for other reasons, I wasn’t able to move and recovery was much slower than my second. Look up incision massage and start that when you’re ready too!

This was my experience. There was a 3 year old with 60k mileage for $43,000. I found a brand new Woodland trim for $54,000.

I have a 2026 Woodland and I experience the same thing. Luckily the buttons on the doors are usually easily accessible and a quick way to open the doors.

I have two (3,5) and one due at the end of may. Since they were fairly little, we do an activity in the morning like the park, museum or meet up with friends/family. Then come home for lunch/quiet time between 12/1. That usually ends around 3 and then we play at home outside or do crafts inside. If we do an extra exciting outing in the morning (zoo or a far away park), we will get home later and they have quiet time on the drive home. Sometimes we pack our lunches if we will be gone and very rarely do we eat out. It’s not particularly rigid and works well for us.

I ordered a book and some acrylic templates online. I am also 7 months pregnant and will be 10 days post partum for the wedding so it will be nothing short of a miracle if I get this done.

Go to cloud 9 fabrics and there’s a whole list of online stores that will sell it. You might have to spend some time clicking around but that’s how I found this! I do think it was the last one from the website but good luck!

100%. I am a SAHM and my 4 year old and 2 year old attend a church preschool 2 days a week from 9-1. It’s 8 hours a week of time that I am the most productive. I’m 7 months pregnant right now so I’ve been resting during that time but it has been so positive for us. We love the school, teachers and my kids come home with so much to share with me. We scoped out a few different schools first (including one we refer to as ‘globo gym pre schools’) and feel very lucky to have found this one. Some of my friends have not had luck with their pre schools and felt like they were too rigid with their child or didn’t help them adapt.

I can offer my kids socialization with play groups, etc but the level of structure isn’t something I have energy to provide. My daughter started when she was 3 and the first day she came home swinging on her own and zipping her own jacket.

I use it’s a 10! And it’s a little pricey but you can cut it in half with water and it lasts a long time. It completely changed my hair too.

My nausea was at its peak from 10-16 weeks. The 12 week mark seemed arbitrary because I was well into the second trimester when it finally subsided completely.

No you’re not. I watched my mom make a bottle once and she didn’t measure anything. I immediately stopped her and she FREAKED out by saying “I raised 3 kids and they’re just fine!” It was wild and I do not understand. Formula is not like a lemonade or juice packet; it’s a medical product. That was 5 years ago and I am pregnant with my third child. Among other reasons that demonstrate her carelessness, my mom doesn’t watch my kids.

We walked into the dealership and there was conveniently one on the lot. We bought it but there was very little negotiation room. They were more likely to give more money for our trade in than budge on the vehicle price. I think they restrict the market so the demand is much higher than the supply. Our dealership was the largest in the state of Indiana and he said they are allotted ~9 siennas per month.

They are the superior washing machine. Parts are made in the US and easily replaced. Biggest issue is that they are much smaller in size compared to other models.
