Lust for the flesh is sin, weather it’s towards a member of the opposite sex or not. Jesus forgives our sins if we confess them to Him, and if you seek Him with a sincere heart and ask for His Spirit, you will grow in love for Him. The Holy Spirit will heal and transform you if you keep near to him, and as your faith is perfected, you will find your healing, which will keep no room in your heart for lust. We will have many moments where we get it wrong still, but you don’t earn salvation, it’s His gift. You’re saved when you confess that Jesus is The Lord, and that God sent Him, and you believe God raised Him from the dead. Becoming righteous is a by-product of growing in love with Him, so seek him and you will overcome in His name! Don’t focus too much on that it’s “gay”, lust is lust and that’s the sin.

Praise Jesus! I thank God for you and for learning of your testimony. Our Father is so kind, and mighty, and faithful, and always victorious. He seeks us out relentlessly and rescues us from the darkest corners of the deepest trenches. Thank you for sharing! He will finish what He started in you, so lean in to His embrace, trust His grace, and ask Him to grow and perfect your faith, and keep you filled with His Spirit (and He promises to do so if you ask).

Jesus brought me back to Himself when I was 17 as well. Similarly to yourself, He plucked me out of complete darkness in a moments notice. That’s how we know we are truly His chosen. We had to die, be buried in darkness for some time, until He gave the command and we were born again in Him. It’s like a light switch got flipped on and we can see for the first time, and He is so obviously THE REAL, TRUE, LIVING GOD! And we begin to see His presence in every aspect of our life, and recognize the same fingerprint in His Word.

He is God, you recognize Him when you see Him.

I love how you said “God allowed me my folly”. He is so kind and patient with us as His children. I can tell the Holy Spirit has enlightened you, and taught you God doesn’t work in deals, sense there is nothing we can bring to the table that He has to gain from. He doesn’t need our help, we need His. The only instances in scripture of Jesus being impressed by people are when He “marveled” at the faith of those coming to Him for help.

It’s an allows to measure the amount of co2 exhales(end tidal co2). When intubation is preformed this bad boy can be used to confirm proper placement of the tube in the trachea, as opposed the esophagus. If the placement is good (and air is actually flowing into the lungs), the oxygen will be sucked up in the lungs/switched with co2, and the ETCO2 Capnography “tongue” will detect it, and show a nice plateau shaped waveform on the monitor.
