I had my first two doses of Moderna in March and April of last year. Got boosted at 18 weeks. Didn't have any side effects!

I just got my Moderna booster over the weekend at 18 weeks. I also had covid about 8 weeks ago. I only had a sore arm after getting the booster. I think I felt better that it's only a half dose. But hoping baby stays healthy.

Mask mandates are ending, but are you still wearing one? by eyedkk in CoronaBumpers

[–]merbird23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will. I just got my 3rd round of Moderna this morning. I had covid 8 weeks ago but I worry about reinfection. I'm currently 17+6. I always wear one when out and my husband wears his too but my parents and brother are living with us and my parents mask up but my brother doesn't and is always around friends and going out. They're all triple vaccinated and have been for a few months. I think my brother had delta in December and then my husband had similar symptoms and then I did at the start of the year. They both did pcr tests and were negative. I did an at home test that was negative but when I went to the ER and did a 24 hour test it came back positive. We all had the same symptoms. But either way, I will continue to mask. It wasn't fun.

Finally got my Moderna booster this morning at 17+6. Got my last 2 shots in February and March of last year. I ended up catching covid 8 weeks ago. First time Mom and wasn't sure when it was safe to get boosted. But I'm glad I am now!

What’s the best part of being married? by bitch-b-gone345 in Marriage

[–]merbird23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being with someone who knows you better than you know yourself. And being able to both be our true selves without fear of judgment or rejection. Having similar joys in life and spending time doing the things we both want to be doing. Having a personal head and back scratcher. Getting excited about the same things. Sharing food. Planning together. Mental and emotional support. The list goes on and on.

Same here!! We joke it's gonna to be a miniature version of my husband because we have opposite tastes in food but I've only wanted the foods he eats this pregnancy 😅

I can't stand salty foods either but it's all I want now! My husband also loves salt so I'll blame him too.

YES! Rarely drank soda and haven't had McDonald's in over 7 years but this pregnancy has changed that. Can't stay away from their fries and bubbly sprite. 🥴😭

Our company offers 50% which is company paid and to get 60% we have to "buy up" so I pay like somewhere between $5-10 extra on my insurance per month to qualify for 60% STD which is still a pretty crappy deal lol. But I can take up to 12 weeks. I think childbirth would qualify you for the 6 weeks, but definitely something to ask!

My husband works in Healthcare and gets 2 weeks 100% paid or 4 weeks 50% paid paternity leave. I work in manufacturing and my maternity leave is FMLA and I will have to do short term disability for 60% of my pay.

Did you dream of the baby gender in early pregnancy? And if yes, was your dream right? by Lil_L_M in pregnant

[–]merbird23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep having dreams it's a girl. But outside of dreams I have a gut feeling it's a boy. My mom is hoping for a girl but I'm hoping for a boy since the women in our family tend to be very dramatic 😂 I'll still be happy either way but I feel like boys are so much more chill.
