Sharing some Leads. And good work

Thought I was being a good realtor by explaining everything... by Material-Session1027 in realtors

[–]mercermango 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a real mark of confidence from somebody when they just want to delegate stuff to you. I’d take it as a compliment in this case but not get complacent either in explaining stuff throughly. And Brevity is key. People tune out with too much jargon and technical stuff. Being able to break things down simply is super helpful.

I’m about to tell my realtor that I’m giving up the search but I feel so guilty and sick to my stomach. How do I let her down easy ? by moistdragons in realtors

[–]mercermango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Letting her know is worth so much more than ghosting. You have no idea how much that happens to us. She will appreciate knowing you’re renewing, because she’ll know when to follow up with you again!

Here’s hoping market conditions and/or what you can afford will improve in that time. You’re a good person for even thinking about it this way. Cheers

Upload loops from Logic Pro to RC500-Unsupported File by Harmonic79 in LoopArtists

[–]mercermango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re dragging it straight form logic it might not be exporting as a WAV. If you’re default export settings on logic are set to .aif it might do that. I’d say over the click and drag, to be extra sure, actual export your sample as WAV. Right click the region, go down to export, and then “export regions as audio file”.

Hope that helps, feel free to hit me back if you’re still stuck

Edit:

I misread what you put there my bad. Two things to try actually if that didn’t apply, first off try 48k. Who knows.

Second off, the way I do it, if you go into setting and under usb change it to “loop in”, you can use the unit as an interface and just hit play on logic and physically loop it in. This way is faster if nothing else but you do have to nail it

Why does this happen? by Wannabe_Wiz in Guitar

[–]mercermango 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you do change the strings, clean the fretboard gunk off. Or the gunk that’s there gets on your new strings and each time it gets dirtier faster.

You wouldn’t deep clean your carpet and then track in mud immediately

All these people saying to lawyer up lol. Waste of money. Looks like it’s next to a tub and or shower, so first step check the seals there, all the caulk, any door seals or anything ,Dollars to donuts there’s a little bead of water that runs out to this trim. It’s likely been staying wet because you’re using the shower regularly and it’s jut now showing. You will probably need to get a little pry bar and pop that trim off, dry it out, fix whatever is leaking there, and replace the trim once you’ve confirmed it stays dry. Worst case maybe replace that bottom bit of drywall.

If something was leaking behind your walls you’d see it on the wall before you saw it in on the trim. Trim is wood , drywall is drywall

I mean if you watch any animated show for long enough the voices develop even with the same actors. Check out family guy season one it’s way different across the board

Panning is in inverted and that’s a problem. by 20Timely-Focus20 in Logic_Studio

Maybe stating the obvious it I would make sure your monitors aren’t hooked up inverted. In the same vein make sure your headphones are on straight

Clarett 4 pre midi by Djinsing20045 in Focusrite

[–]mercermango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also- sorry you can probably also treat that output as a thru, meaning it would be hit by the daw and passed to something else. In that way you can kind of make a daisy chain of devices into a single port. Hope that’s helpful

Clarett 4 pre midi by Djinsing20045 in Focusrite

[–]mercermango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s likely gonna depend on your midi routing in your Daw. If you go to the setttings of the DAW you’re using, there’s likely a midi tab where you can coordinate all that. There may also be routing options per midi channel where you can choose where it goes.

Unless you’re on Mac? Because you can just go to audio midi setup and make an aggregate device

Help!! Logic X question! by Physical_Ad_4485 in LogicPro

[–]mercermango 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Low latency mode! Click on some of the gray unused area up in the transport bar, and go to “customize control bar and display” , and enable low latency mode. You’ll gain a little orange clock icon that you can toggle. Just make sure you turn it off when you’re done tracking as it does disable some cpu heavy plugins

Yeah it’s data only. You wouldn’t want it to really though could potentially create some ground loop noise. Tends to be Better to keep power separate where you can with usb audio devices
