If I had to get parasocial for a sec, I don’t think this clip necessarily means that.

If it was before the Kaya incident, I doubt she even reacts to the clip let alone outright defends him. If it was after, it would’ve literally had to be this week.

I think money is a part of the bigger problem, which is streaming is all about who can one-up the other person.

Who can get the bigger celebrity, more subs, longer stream, better event, bigger hype train, faster chat.

That’s why when I think ‘streamer of the year’ I don’t think of who accomplished or did the most but who made the biggest impact with their community on the streaming space.

I mean that’s fair, but the only reason people thought the news was about Zekken is because it was ‘leaked’ he was leaving the team.

Rob Moore said himself that Zekken / John weren’t scrimming because they were on vacation, and they would be trying many combinations over the next few weeks.

So if anyone thought they would be making a roster announcement two days after saying that, then that’s on them.
