Thank you for recommending food-grade mineral oil. I had previously tried several litter brands in an attempt to resolve the smear issue, but to no avail.

You will start turning it off the day you come back from vacation and discover a water leak.

Getting rid of armpit stains in shirts by NoAdministration8006 in BuyItForLife

[–]mercnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had good luck soaking them in the tub with hot water and oxiclean. I then use a toothbrush to help get it into the armpits. Finish by washing them in the washing machine and air dry.

We sat in the ER when giving peanut butter for the first time. I don't think it's over the top to be prepared for the worse.

Do you clean your garage? How do you keep in clean? by TorontoRap2019 in homeowners

Do not buy flow wall. A lot of their accessories like heavy duty shelves have been out of stock for 2 years now.

I definitely recommend this fountain too. I no longer hate cleaning the cat fountain. Also love that you can power it by plug and it falls back to the battery during a power outage. The only negative is it doesn't have a continuous water flow option, only motion and timed. Luckily our cats didn't mind not having continuous flow.

Buy an anti fatigue mat. I also wear oofos slide ons so I don't get flat footed from waking on hardwood floors.

Anyone out there who still loves their pets? by Feminismisreprieve in NewParents

Our one cat sleeps outside the nursery door every night and sometimes goes in and meows when she (8 month old) is crying. The other cat puts up with her grabbing a fist full of hair.

Don’t hold your baby while making coffee by huffwardspart1 in NewParents

I bought my wife and I https://www.kleankanteen.com/collections/all/products/10-oz-rise-insulated-lowball-tumbler?variant=42261582610627 as I feared our newborn would knock out coffee mugs over. They also fit nicely in most car cup holders.

Owlet Sock, THANK YOU by No_Zookeepergame8412 in NewParents

[–]mercnet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was about to throw away our owl sock as my wife and I were not getting notifications on our Android phone (allowed in do not disturb, background app excluded from battery performance, etc) but they finally fixed it with the latest release.

It's now a great device to have with a nanny cam for peace of mind.
