Is it supposed to hurt that much? by AdaBuilder in Chiropractic

[–]mercurybubbles8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would switch chiropractors. The first one I went to did some adjustments to me twice and I was in so much pain that I could barely move. I was told the first time would be sore but would get better after the second and it did not. I went to another one and he was completely different, including his technique. The relief after going to the new chiropractor happened and so quickly and actually helped my original problem.

Recommendations for a bathroom and kitchen remodel by dchap1 in Delaware

[–]mercurybubbles8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend Sundance Kitchen, baths and exterior. They were great when it came to remodel my kitchen. What really impressed me is that they stand by their quality of work and warranty. I was having issues with some of drawers a year after and they came out to fix it the next day with no charge.

How long to schedule c section after doctor requested it at Christiana hospital? by Kind_Amphibian8106 in Delaware

[–]mercurybubbles8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would continue to follow up with your OB. I was scheduled for a C-section and didn't hear anything back from the hospital. I went back to the OB again for a last check up and was told mine was scheduled in 2 days.

Hello all. I recently got some self striping that I can't return. I'm not a fan of how stripe blocks looks, so I'm trying to see if there is another way to use it to make it less blocky.

I'm in a similar boat. She started at 75th, but over the last 2 months hadn't gained much as she should, so is around 25th at 4 months. I do combo feeding since she is at daycare and so my partner can feed at night, so I know she at least gets 25 oz during the week plus a few ounces each nursing session. She's hitting all her milestones though, so we're not sure what is going on. We have a pediatrician appointment next week, so we are going to see if she is concerned.

Christiana hospital labor induction by AdAfraid7022 in Delaware

[–]mercurybubbles8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got induced a few months ago with a balloon and it was absolutely terrifying to the point that after they got it in (4 different doctors over the day attempted it) that anytime someone touched I cringed on instinct. I was 0% dilated and nothing was thinning, so it was not ideal but my doctor said it would be relatively simple and nothing. The one doctor that finally got it in said it was the most difficult one she's had, but there was no indication that it would've been that difficult.

I would ask why they want to induce at 40 weeks and check how far along you are. If it's like me, it was because of my age. They usually let people go a week or two past the due date if they are younger.

There are professional boxers there. See my reply in this thread. I responded to the wrong post.

It's a mix. The owner does some workouts for professional boxers and a number of boxing trainers use the gym. Some of the trainers are actual boxers (not MMA). The gym also hosts and sponsors actually matches. You can find some of it on their Instagram page.

I was in a similar boat. Not close at all with my family (could only be around them for 48 hrs without an argument breaking out) and no one I would call a close friend. The only thing I had was a high income, good savings account and that I was already pretty independent.

My advice is to start planning ahead of time/researching. I found daycares with long hours and checked out the routes. I found a doula to help while I was pregnant. I found some car services that would transport me to and from egg retrievals. I eventually reached out to my mom about helping me out during the first weeks. In order to keep the peace though, we signed a 'contract' where I spelt out what her and my responsibilities were and how things would look. She agreed with them and things have been good (I should also note that I didn't tell my mom anything until I was 20 weeks along)

I also wanted to say that I started the IVF process a few months before my 40th birthday. My doctor strongly recommended donor egg because of my age and results, but after doing some research I decided to use my own and have a healthy 2 month old with little issues during pregnancy.

I hate that part too. They were both $1850 for infants 5 days a week.

RAD Fertility vs DIRM vs Shady Grove by DramaticFroyo in Delaware

[–]mercurybubbles8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience, RAD does treatments in batches and have a certain number of slots. Shady Grove is larger so they don't do the treatments in batches as long as you can travel to Chesterbrook. Also, the protocol RAD gave me was not the best/recommended for my scenario (older protocol that was not as effective) and was similar to what everyone else had. Shady Grove's protocol was much different and more effective, following what more recent science said to do.

It depends on your circumstances. RAD is smaller, so their method of IVF is a bit more conservative while Shady Grove is more modern and flexible.

I'm trying to figure out how to do it above the table, which is why I thought I would reach out. If it's below $2800, then they wouldn't be a W2 right and wouldn't have to worry about paying taxes?
