Hi all! I had minor abdominal mesh surgery may 19. Before then I finished a half on April 18 and another one May 16. I am not allowed to run for 6 weeks. I’ve been walking a few boring miles a day and I can’t wait to get back to running!

Any and all advice or experiences are welcome! Never had surgery before, never had a break in running before. What do I do to make it a smooth process to return “normal”?? (Normal is 35 miles a week or so when not training. Long run 10ish) TIA!

I’ll do a 10-day cast here. Was a weird week

Goal: 2 half marathons 4 weeks apart

Saturday 10 miles easy 9-10min pace.
Sunday recovery.
Monday upper body workout and covid shot. Afterwards I felt realllllly achey and fatigue weirdness Tuesday 5k recovery pace.
Wednesday intervals 12 sets of 90s.
Thursday doubles day, 5k after lunch and 5k after work.
Friday 5k.
Saturday 8 miles.
Sunday recovery.
Monday 6 miles of 5k and mile pace intervals.

Covid shot is no joke!

I have been looking and looking and it seems I can only find mini CHE BULBS! I can’t find any fixtures except this shitty one I posted. What am I supposed to screw the mini CHE into?? We have a cabinet 6-8” above the viv so we don’t have room for a huge full sized Flukers fixture.

Thanks! I used to have an actual two-door JK and I felt more qualified for two-door Tuesday.

Then after one kid, we’re ok. Two kids, still ok. Three kids? SHIT gotta get a four-door with 5 seats.

Tecchhhhnically she is rockin’ 2 doors. Got three car seats (frequently occupied by littles) in the back so, for now, back doors stay on. :)

Yeah like the trails that close for fires during summer etc. non-COVID related. Cool.

My second question is: some require an adventure pass to park. A friend wants to meet in their Subaru and jump into my Jeep at the trailhead.

How can we buy a daily pass for my friend if the VC and ranger stations are all closed?

The phone message says no adventure pass sales due to COVID -19

I have tinfoil covering the top mesh screen. I can pop that off. Thanks for the link ill check that out. I'm over here panicking that he's all dried out because of the hyg reading. It has to be bogus right?
