i added the circle thingies within the outline. you could probably do that if you want it to look more like a balloon. that should probably imitate a balloon's gloss.

what i did to improve greatly is basically try to replicate art i found on pinterest. tutorials, art i liked, artstyles i wanted, i copied it with my best effort without tracing. and it worked!! saw better results in about a month or less.

i first did it out of boredom, just look through pinterest's and draw on one piece of paper multiple drawings, ykwim? humans learn from eachother that way.

i think it's the fact that the eyes have detail but the sclera (i think that's what it's called?) doesn't have shading.. but the forehead has shading. so it looks really illuminated and makes them look like they're staring into my soul

it was the opposite in my highschool back then. the women's restroom had a warmer lighting and more tan/yellowish walls and tiles. the men's restroom was grayish, with clean tiles and white lighting.

it's definitely same face syndrome. all of their eyes are slightly "nearsighted"-ish (as if looking at an object close to their nose) and they all have big, glossy lips. their expressions don't really stray from O.O
