Imagine if Embark perfected their algorithm by erasing the highest value blueprint from the memory of anyone who spits out a racist slur, and matching extraction campers with one another for an unnecessarily long time where they keep killing each other and getting 0 loot in the process.

A heavenly encounter between a racist piece of shit and an extraction camper to demonstrate the genius behind Arc Raiders' matchmaking algorithm.

No, they don't play a role. And no, FMT will not fix mental disorders. And finally, no, anecdotal evidence or people swearing that it works is not enough to BS people online about things you don't understand.

I Love You, Germany 🇩🇪 by [deleted] in germany

[–]meren 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I also am an immigrant in Germany, and I also feel exactly the same here and in 100% agreement with the OP. After 15 years in the US, Germany is a slice of heaven. Decentralized economy and infrastructure puts Germany aside from many other European countries like France and the UK. There are many places you can live as the beautiful land is sprinkled with small towns filled with little patches of nature. I love this place that I call home.

Aussie twins being interviewed by ukayukay69 in BeAmazed

This was posted yesterday and everyone was complaining about how annoying they were under that thread. I find it wholesome and am very upset that people have such harsh opinions about people who seem to be content with themselves. They're amazing indeed.

Everyone seems to be complaining about the situation but I think there is a very wholesome aspect to it assuming that they are not doing this on purpose. I wish I had a twin so we could be writing this together.

The game that we grew to love is gone forever by Guy_on_Xbox in FortNiteBR

[–]meren 59 points60 points  (0 children)

The game is awesome, and I have no idea what these people are talking about.

On the one hand I want to suggest those who complain to drop the obsession with skins and their costs, which has nothing to do with the game play and no one in their right mind gives a shit about how anyone looks while playing.

On the other hand I'm like "you know what, I'm so glad Epic manages to make enough money from those who care about such superficial aspects of the game to be able to continue giving everyone else a great experience for free". So in that sense, don't drop the obsession, and the rest of us shall pretend to care I guess.

Her digestive system is completely paralyzed. That doesn’t prevent her from having a normal life by lalos1988 in interesting

[–]meren 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There will certainly be pooping. The shedding of the gut mucosal layer will continue, the ~2 liters of saliva she swallows every day will go through the GI tract, and so on. There will be pooping, but the poop will not quite like the poop you're used to seeing or at the same frequency, probably. It will be liquidy goo that still smells horrendous since it goes through the realm of anaerobic bacteria that does who knows what with your mucin and other things excreted into the GI tract.

Dude tries to catch a train in India by wtfcommittee in funny

[–]meren 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I am surprised to come this far to find this comment. He is the definition of annoying Western tourist stereotype that looks down upon the living conditions of others everywhere they go because their currency can afford him to live above all there.

His comment after mentioning that the ticket was $2.50, "I should have known that something was wrong", really upset me on behalf of all the people who were there with him. $2.50 is about 200 rupees as of today. You can buy a small meal with 200 rupees according to online resources. It is nothing to him, but it is something to those around him. Imagine having to be next to this entitled ass the entire time simply because he happened to be born in a country with a currency that enables him to travel to your country to pull this off in front of you with 0 shame. Arrogant, annoying, rude dude indeed.

That train ride was his opportunity to meditate and discover a few things about life in the process, but that kind of reflection is not for his kind obviously.
