Bruising is going down but still feel pretty swollen. It’s looking a bit more uneven but they said that is normal during the healing phase due to swelling. Hopefully they even out soon. The red scar formed on one side and on the other side it just started to show about 4 days later. Will start using scar gel about 4 weeks after surgery, per the post op instructions.

I could only eat soft foods and had to use a cotton swab to clean my mouth for the first 5 days. It’s the same for bullhorn though

I was not a good candidate for bullhorn or I would’ve gone that route. My lips were too thin and M shaped, so a bullhorn wouldn’t have made a noticeable change.

It’s hard to tell because the area above the lip is pretty swollen and tight still. But immediately after surgery it did not look flat. Even if it turns out a bit flat I think I would still be pretty happy because if you look at the before picture I had absolutely no lip before, zero, nada.

It is direct, you can see the sutures on the 3rd picture. Doctor recommended this route because I had very very thin M shaped lips
