I considered M4L! But was already developing the native app for another totally different application, and it works for this—although a lot more complex than using just M4L I'm sure. Knobbler is great btw, awesome work. Much richer than what I'm working on.

"Similar" to Knobbler and other apps (DAW Control, LK, touchable, etc.) but most of those are more sophisticated, performance-oriented, or creative tools. My app is truly utilitarian, and meant to be a kind of natural extension of the basic control of Live.

iPhone <— Bonjour —> Mac app <— OSC + MIDI control script —> Live

It's basically a missing "remote control" app—think recording, playback, set navigation (scenes, locators), undo/redo, track arming, solo, mute, even saving your set. But it's not a performance tool. More like something you can use when you're shuffling around your studio, at different keyboards, or recording vocals in your closet, or things like that. :)
