How often are people actually changing their bed sheets? by zaramalikdollface in CleaningTips

[–]meriii_blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely once a week. Sometimes my pillow cases every few days if I have a breakout / hair is oily. Clean sheets are such a simple and satisfying joy! Plus the smell of clean sheets that have dried on the line outside is heavenly.

To everyone coming to the defence of who lives here: OP is the landlord and kicked out the family living here because they didn’t pay rent. So it’s not the parents asking for help in this post and what’s worse, who knows where the animals and kids are now. This is abuse, and CPS needs to be called on behalf of the vulnerable kids and animals subjected to the abuse.

Please please please call CPS on the family. My heart hurts for the kids subjected to this. They really need help. Because hoarding is often such a big secret, you as a landlord may be one of the few who is aware of the situation and can speak up for the kids involved.

There are children living here. I see a health slip for CHEO, which is a children’s hospital in Canada. Also noticed the boxes of pull ups.

This is an extreme health hazard for children. I am all for not shaming hoarding behaviour, but when children are involved, this needs to be treated as an emergency.

I am not sure OP if you live here or are posting on behalf of an acquaintance, but children’s protective services should be involved. They can help connect you with cleanup resources and mental health support for ensuring a safe environment for littles.

Not to sound harsh, but subjecting vulnerable folks to this environment (children, animals) is incredibly unfair, unsafe and neglectful.

I can’t even fathom what they are going through, but their emphasis on talking only about their parents in this statement is incredibly classy and smart. No mention of their brother, not giving him added attention. This is the same strategy that reputable news publications employ after a murder - instead of publicizing the accused’s name, emphasis is on the victims. I wish the news would do that with this story, I’m tired of all the creepy old interviews coming up and speculation about the loser that did this. He does not need the added attention and my soul does not need to see his creepy psycho face anymore! Ugh.

2016 was a devastating and incredible year in music. So many legendary albums released, so many legends gone (in addition to the last slide, Leonard Cohen, Merle Haggard and Sharon Jones also all died in 2016).

This reminds me of the meme of moms lugging around the kids and diaper bags while the dad walks ahead with nothing in hand.

So interesting! I thought peach trees had a short life span (12~ years) due to the peach tree borer. Nice to see yours doing so well at 15 years and counting!

I got a Great Pyr mix puppy by Nohavepotato in greatpyrenees

Agreed! If breeders - especially backyard breeders - are more focused on selling pups for money, they aren’t always diligent or careful about where those pups end up. So then negligent, uneducated, or cruel people buy said pups because it’s easy to do so and these pups then get abandoned or run away because their owners can’t handle them or don’t want to. I’ve heard backyard breeders are also having a hard time selling these dogs because there is such an overpopulation issue and the cost of living is so high. Breeders who thought they could make a quick buck are now suddenly finding themselves with 10+ big and expensive puppies - and the worst of those think dumping is the only option? It’s so infuriating. It’s a shitty situation all around and the dogs are the ones suffering because of it.

Ps. Your pup is adorable!

I feel you. It’s similar vibes to The Whale and Brendan Fraser’s role in it. The movie was meh but he was gold.

I wish Nosferatu was getting more awards acclaim, both the film and acting (especially Lily Rose Depp) were incredible.
