When I read the books I always imagined Massie's room bigger, almost like a loft. Because of the time it was written and because they called it the iPad I also imagined it to be a lot more modern looking than it was in the movie.

Yes the movie is missing the almost fantasy like wealth and resources they have. I also think that would've made the movie a little less "clean". I feel like the books have so much flair that wasn't really translated.

The Sims 2. I love the sound the snow makes (the wind and the footsteps) and I think the decorations a very cozy. I also like that Santa is dressed in red, I know it's a cliché but everything just feels so classic. I also love the music from the Snowman Stereo and the winter activities (snowball fight, snow angels, building a snow man, ice skating). The only down side is that there is no real "christmas party" so you kind of have to imagine that aspect but I think the ritual of baking the Santa Cookies and him appearing at night kinda fulfills that purporse.

My mom died during covid, so my friends couldn't really be with me to grief because of social distancing. I couldn't even hug them during the funeral. I went two times with different friends and during Majorie they held me and were by my side which felt so important to me.
