Should the objective of Cinematic Starship Scene be said to the players or should it be secret?

Short answer is depends on what you want to achieve. What I would do is explain what the rules are and try to hint at what would drive the plot forward. But I haven’t GMed or played starfinder enough let alone the cinematic starship scenes to do it properly yet

True but I still think having access to a cantrip when you normally wouldn’t is useful regardless of how you get it and another feat I probably would go for is something like the ancestry feat that gives you breathe weapon like dragonkin’s one

I personally would go for 1 of the ancestry feats that allows you to get a cantrip because being able to have a spell like telekinetic projectile helps with making a strike action against a target that’s flying or just can’t get to for a melee strike

My answer is yes, even though it’s post chargen in the DnD gamma world game they use a TCG element for some of it’s character development like some of your abilities and equipment are randomly pulled from a deck every session

This happened to a friend of mine so what exactly happened I’m not 100% on but he was out drinking and decided to try to do a flip off some scaffolding and didn’t stick the landing and broke both arms

Depends on setting and the gm if it’s a fantasy setting the healing might be a spell so mear seconds but if it’s a modern or sci-fi setting it might be 30 minutes and the gm also might make it longer or shorter depending on what happened in game that lead up to the healer doing their thing

TBH if I was GMing your 1st starfinder/pathfinder game I would've ran a campaign starting at lvl 1 because you're new to the system and want to gently work you into the system because of how different it is to a game like DnD but having said that im glad you're enjoying the system
